Not a Typical Tuesday

UGHHHH I'm so worn out today all I did was sleep all day there's a very good reason for that though. My daughter has "swimmers ear", any of you ever had that well let me tell you it is definitely not a piece of cake'. My daughter has barely slept or eaten for two days, seriously I was up all night with her I finally fell asleep around 6:30 this morning. I have never dealt with an ear infection this badly before and seeing as how my son is 11 and my daughter is almost 8 that says a lot. Yesterday we went to the pediatricians office and they prescribed us CIPRODEX OTIC SUSPENSION. Well let me tell you how much it didn't work to cure my baby's poor ear ache, so finally at 5:30 a.m. I looked up home remedies to soothe the ailing pain of swimmers ear, and across the board I read that if you mix 2 parts rubbing alcohol and one part white vinegar (It has to be white vinegar) it really seems to do the trick for easing pain in the ear. note* does not have to be Heinz I used an off brand. 

Well with that being said I hope your itty bitty ones never have to go through this. I also read that if you clean your or your children's ears every time your done swimming, showering etc. that this solution should ward off swimmers ear completely. I guess the rubbing alcohol dries out the water in the ear. *Please note* I am not a Doctor nor do I work as a medical professional, this method is something I found incredibly useful in my own personal situation via internet research for home remedies.*  

Any who.......We are back at the doctors office first thing in the morning so that my daughter Payton can have her ear looked at again. Wish us luck!
